Denver Chiropractor, Dr. Justin Dukes grew up in the foothills of Colorado and was very involved with athletics playing both football and lacrosse in high school before heading East to attend the University of Vermont. While in Vermont, Dr. Dukes continued his athletic career as a member of the school's Division I Lacrosse team and began to shape his academic career with a degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
From Vermont, Dr. Dukes headed back out West to attend the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. During his time in Oregon, Dr. Dukes continued to be involved in athletics, coaching at both the club and high school levels with local lacrosse programs. His focus on health and fitness also continued to grow, leading him to become credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Dr. Dukes has continued to further his training by taking part in advanced soft tissue and manual muscle therapy courses including Graston Technique, Active Release Techniques, FAKTR-PM Technique and Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (A.M.I.T.). This has allowed him to further his skills and broaden his scope of treatment tools. He has also done advanced training with the Gray Institute allowing him to integrate three dimensional movement patterns from the Chain Reaction, 3DMAPS and Applied Functional Science programs into his evaluation and treatment plans.
Dr. Dukes blends chiropractic care with functional fitness training to rapidly improve his patient's overall function and get them back to what they love doing as fast as he can. Outside of the office, Dr. Dukes stays busy exploring the outdoors with his wife, their son and their two dogs. He enjoys snowboarding, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and traveling.
